I was stationed at Maxwell for three years (2005 - 2008) and stayed at the FamCamp in our pop up while PCS'ing in, PCSing out, and over one Easter Weekend when I was the POC for the Protestant Sunrise Service and needed to be at the Hopper Lodge next door "bright and early! Restrooms and showers are usable, but not the nicest. Getting a spot can be challenging as it is a heavily used facility, especially by students who are there for 10 months. Plan ahead if you expect to go through Montgomery and make a reservation. I do have an explanation for posts by those who noted the same RV's in the same slots year after year. Since there tends to be a large PME Student population, some of the RV's have been sold from student to student as one academic year ends and a new one begins, so the people change, but the RV's stay put. By the way, I'm hoping to stay there a few nights this summer as I move again back east! Blessings, Chap V
