** Directions to the FamCamp indicate you need to disconnect if you have a 40' or over rig. I disagree. At least during this time of year when the park is 1/2 full. We unhooked and it was an unnecessary stress finding a place along the roads that are not that wide from the freeway into the gate. If the problem is parking in from of the FamCamp office, recommend you pull through along the first row of RV's, then disconnect. For $20 it is hard to beat. Plus they have both a pets and 'no pets'. What a great idea. We don't have to listen to barking/yapping dogs. This place is nice. The newer area has lots of grass, hedge to divide us from the neighbor and is one of the better military parks we have stayed at. 4 years ago we heard of the micromanagement style of the previous camp hosts. Glad to say no such thing now. Very pleasant experience. We camped in a 40' motorhome and would stay here again.
