Corina really runs a smart ship at Travis FamCamp. The tent spaces are on dirt mounds, so have a ground cloth ready. Otherwise, it was beautiful camping, except for the winds on one night. They weren't howling, but almost! The campground is clean and the bathhouse/showers are some of the best I've seen. The showers are spacious and especially nice! One word of caution: if you use the laundry, make sure you attend to your clothes 100%. I made a bathroom break and when I returned, some guy had removed my clothes from a washer so he could wash his! I know who did it, and he didn't seem to be too nice of a person in the first place. But, tend to your laundry, just the same, or get a family member, or somebody to watch it for you, if you need to take a bathroom break. Otherwise, our overall experience was a good one!
