This is a wonderful place to take your kids and grandkids. Yes, the marines are out most mornings and evenings practicing for what they do best. The kids are proud of the way the marines wave at them when they pass by in their vehicles and so are we. An education plus the beach, it is wonderful. The noise of freedom, beautiful. Beach is protected at night by roving patrols and the camping office staff have been outstanding.
