Looking for Campground Host Position was created by FAMCAMPBILL
We spent the summer at Yellowstone as Guest Service Agents. Now we are looking for positions as Campground Hosts. We are not too particular about the location, we can travel about anywhere.
Thanks

Many website users know that I work in the summers as a "District Manager" for California Land Management. This is a concessionaire primarily managing US Forest Service campgrounds.
I manage the USFS campgrounds in the Sierraville and Yuba River (North) Ranger Districts of the Tahoe National Forest in Northern California.
It is that time of the year again and I'm starting to hire for the 2011 camping season. I currently have job openings for 5 camp hosts, 2 maintenance men, and 2 store workers. All hours are paid, with jobs being 20 - 40 hrs per week (depends on location and job). You also get a FREE camp site for the season. However, almost all of my host sites don't have electric (1 available does). So you'll need to use your own generator for electric.
If interested in working in the Tahoe National Forest next summer, drop me an email for more information.

Check out the National Park Service website and they have campground host positions around the country. We were campground hosts for several months last summer at Glacier NP and will be returning next summer for the second half of the season. They provide a space, uniform shirt, jacket and hat. Five days on/two off. Beautiful country and great people.

This FAQ will help get you going.
Or.... I'll be hiring camp hosts for the Inyo National Forest (CA) campgrounds starting in October.
