We had reservations for 2 nights. Checkin is at the lodge on base. There were several parking lots so we were able to pull in to one on the side & not block the front of the lodge. I wish more bases would consider having checkin (and reservations) run through their lodges. If the base can't have someone on site at the rv park, then the lodge should handle it. Afterall, they know how to do reservations & checkins! This was the most thorough check-in we had ever experienced. Make sure every i is dotted and every t crossed. Your paperwork will be graded! They asked to see both occupants ids. And if you have pets, have your shot records! This is the only place we have ever had to show our animal's records. We were in the "overflow" area. Water & electric with a dump located right by the sites to use when leaving. Back in sites, very close together. There's no facilities at this section - there's laundry & a bathouse over at the main rv park. The grass was extremely high which kept us from using the picnic table located behind the rig. There was NO room between rvs to put the table. Across the road from the overflow sites, on the other side of the big government fence were horses. We enjoyed checking them out. Commissary was adequate. Exchange very small. We did fill up our rv at the gas station on base. There is an absolutely awesome walking/jogging trail. If in the area, we would stay here again but would hope to be able to get a space in the main park.
