Just checked into Shields RV Park, NAS Corpus Christi, TX and required to show pets vaccination records. Is this a new policy? We have stayed at a lots of military RV Parks and never been asked for vaccination records. If this is a new policy it should be published. Anyone else had this problem?

A few places do require the vaccination records. If this policy is known, we publish it on this website under the campground's information page. I just updated the Shields Recreation Area (TX) page with this info.

Thanks for letting us know.

Yes it's new,...

Someone complained and allegedly took pictures of someone else feeding the resident coyotes (meatball).
That person feeding was banished from the park but apparently someone else threatened to poison Meatball so some of the rules have been reiterated and enforced.
Because they live here, no amount of complaining will get the coyotes removed so you're required to show vaccinations, can't leave pets unattended, can't leave food/water bowls out and you will be asked to leave if you feed the coyotes.
