Throughout the country, Services Squadrons run special on-base camping facilities. These facilities range from simple overnight parking facilities to full-service facilities such as the FamCamp at Beale AFB. This FamCamp has won numerous awards for being one of the BEST U.S. Military Campgrounds.

We want to make your visit as fun-filled and relaxing as possible, so we have provided some information about our great facilities and programs on this website. Bellows AFS is located on the northern portion of Waimanalo Bay and includes a stretch of white sandy beach that curves around the bay. The beach offers users a resort-quality Hawaiian setting.
Stay for a night, weekend, or longer any time of year at BLORA's RV or primitive camping areas or cottages. Recreational vehicle campsites are available in three locations in the park. RV sites have electricity and water hookups, and picnic shelters. Dump stations are located conveniently near the RV parks. Sites are filled on a "first-come, first-served" basis. Several acres of land have been designated for primitive camping at BLORA. Ten fully furnished one-bedroom cottages are available by reservation....
Bethel Park, adjacent to the Bethel housing area, is one of Langley’s best-kept secrets. It’s beautiful scenic area surrounded by water is perfect for outdoor relaxation. Bethel park offers pavilions, fishing equipment, ball fields, paddle boats, barbecue grills, volleyball and equipment rental. Don’t forget to checkout the Paintball Park while you are there.

Eielson Outdoor Recreation hosts the Birch Lake military recreation site. Birch Lake is an off-base recreational area located 35 miles south of Eielson on the Richardson Highway. Facilities include a lodge, cabins, camper pads, showers and a picnic area. There is a playground and sandy beach in the common area. A picnic pavilion with sand volleyball pit is available for reservation. Several types of boats are available for rent at the lake.
Brewster Recreation Area is a 122 acre recreation area located along the Northeast Creek River and Brewster Blvd between the Base Hospital and golf course. Wooded recreation area on base along the river. Canoe and kayak launch on site. Primitive tent sites and one group site only.
