We began our full-time RV living experience by camping out at Parris Island's RV campground on Parris Island, SC. We spent the entire month of April 2011 there; and we had a great time. We especially liked going down to Ellis Beach and watch the sun set. It was beautiful! Another thing we enjoyed was getting up in the morning to the sound of Drill Instructors taking their trainees down the street in front of the RV campground. Those poor young men and women were put through the "ringers" but on graduation day, the proud parents made all of this worth the work. Although, I am retired Army, I was very proud of the Marines! The telephones do not work very well at the campground, especially if you are a T-Mobile customer. And, they do not have cable TV or WiFi. We used our DirecTV satellite and Virgin Mobile MiFi and got good reception for TV and computer internet. All-in-all this was a good camping experience and we will definitely stay there again on our way South off I-95.
