Well, I have great news for all our Active Duty folks. After speaking with the new camp Host that we currently have ORC will allow Active Duty Coast Guard to stay her at the Famcamp. ORC does not consider them Active Duty, and as long as if your not assigned on base here at Charleston AFB you are welcome to stay. You now can stay in the long term spots for up to 180 day, but you have to pay $23 a night. I'm just repeating what I was told.

Active Duty can stay in campground as long as you're not assigned to this base. Yes, you can stay up to 180 days. Please be on the look out for our specials coming soon!

Why would active duty be staying for 180 days? If not on leave, they should be staying in assigned housing. These are supposed to be campgrounds for all to enjoy, NOT TEMPORARY HOUSING.
