There's not a campground in the military inventory that compares to Cliffside RV Park. Modern, well thought-out amenities, good space between RV sites, two friendly fun-focused camp hosts and man-oh-man, those views! Blue ocean for miles, the Olympic Mountains, Mt. Erie, Vancouver Island and the lights of Victoria. A great blue heron and resident bald eagle greeted me on my morning walk of the paved trail that runs adjacent to the campground. Just WOW. We stayed in a yurt for the evening and found it to be incredibly comfortable. Big, sturdy, log furniture - a queen/twin bunk bed, faux leather futon and a small table. Two "windows" roll up for views. Plus two outlets for basic electrical needs. Cliffside truly does have it all! Look out Agave Gulch, you've got some big-time competition.
