This is a small but nice famcamp. Although the base is small, the bx and commissary had a variety of things to purchase that met our needs. We were there over the holidays so the base was pretty much shut down, however, it didn't discourage us, we like it that way some of the time. A huge plus was the free laundry facilities available to the famcamp residents. One thing that did bother us was that we had asked about getting 50 amp instead of 30 amp and were told that it wasn't available. However...the entire time that we were there there were several 50 amp slots that were available for use. If you have people that are staying in the famcamp for extended periods of time, 2 weeks or more, and ask for 50 amp, they should be given it and let the one nighters use the 30 amp. The bathroom was a mess, however since it is also available to the people who use the rec area next to the camp it may be difficult to keep it as clean as it should be. The gym was great, we spent time there each day. There is a great bike trek that runs through the base and is an easy ride. The camp hosts were always smiling, nice and gave out accurate information about the base when asked.
