Review Detail

This was our 1st visit the raccoon creek. Management doesn't facilitate folks who come in for long term camping properly, start in short term moved to dry or partial hook-up when in fact there are spaces available in the long term area. While we were there 9 days we saw at least 25 to 30 open sites waiting for who? So those of us who just wanted to stay 7 to 14 days were given a choice of maybe 3 or 4 sites, might I add there were open sites in short term but were told we couldn't move to one, so they were being held for who?. In a few words Don't understand their camping policy at all. That said area is beautiful, beach could be, if not for lack of maintenance and a much needed grooming. Did some golfing, ate at seascape, shopping in commissary. Would love to come back if there were corrections in the camp site placement.
