Very nice FamCamp! We stayed here while exploring the area, came here specifically to tour the Trinity site. The base is upgrading housing, including new roads, so do not believe your GPS. Follow the directions from the previous poster if you have to enter the main gate. Wifi is up most of the time, but it does crash regularly. Nice exchange and commissary, we loved the base library. Overflow parking is generous, level and graveled. During our two weeks here, we saw a lot of turnover, most people only stay overnight. We only saw people in overflow for one night, then they either left or moved into a full hookup site.

Famcamp has gone downhill since we were last there. People allowed to hook up at the far end of the camp on other side of fence- electric & water for $3.00 a night & also behind the laundry room( electric & water) for $3.00 night...While we were there, we would have like to have been able to have water & electric for $3.00. Bathroom floors not nearly as clean as they used to be. Hard to get legitimate sites because of all of the active duty who are homesteading there.. A few people that we know, including us, who have been going there for quite awhile, won't be going back..
