What a mess. Beale is no longer the RV meca it once was, No Host, a part-time manager, so getting in contact with anyone for reservations or information is almost imposible. The pristine grounds will be the next to go, because no host to take care of the FamCamp and to do the little extras that made Beale a fun relaxed place to visit, no host also opens the possibility for freeloaders to camp for nothing. How can $14.00 a day ($420 mo.) be justified?, where's the overhead, not the value it once was. I have always been a supporter of the MWR program, but now the support seems to be oneway. Beale is off the main highways and not easy to get to. If you come to Beale its because you want to, now how many are going to want to.
