Stopped by to check out this hidden RV Park. A little run-down, but would suffice if the other RV Park is full. Some of the electrical connections were broke. All of the sites seemed fairly level, so I don't know why someone would have problems. Not much shade, so this wouldn't be my first choice in the summer.

This is a water 20/30 amp famcamp. It is good for a few days until your holding thanks are full. Tried several sites to find a level one but was unable to find one. It took several lifts to get it close. We saw a few motorhomes with the front wheels off the ground. By the way, you muse enter the post from the East Gate not the Main Gate. That is closed except to cars due to construction.

We totally enjoyed our stay here despite the fact that it was hard to find and very remote. But once we got there we were happy to be there. The host was a very pleasant man who had a great attitude and a nice flower garden to match. Apache Flats was full but did call us the day after we left to tell us they had an opening, which was great. The stars were an added plus for us from atop the hill. Even the shooting range was not a disturbance. I think if we go back we may prefer that to the big c/g.

Our stay was very positive! We would have stayed longer, but it was booked up. The 5,000 ft. elevation allowed for cool evenings & warm days. We will go back!

We enjoyed our stay here very much..The view is much nicer than at Apache Flats..and we loved going over to Garden Canyon for our hikes with our dogs..beautiful..the weather is wonderful..and the Camp Host Mr. Luz is great...The Overflo area is open when Apache Flats is full..we feel it should be open all the time..the only downfall is you have to go to dump but, not too much of a problem..the price is right..We met alot of wonderful people here..will definitely be back. Thanks..

P.R. left using the Directory software - Very quiet, absolutely breathtaking views of the Fort, Sierra Vista and the Huachuca Mountains. Gorgeous sunnrises and sunsets. Bit rustic but enjoyable. We use the showers at Apache Flats and also attend their get togethers. No individual dump at site but dumping once every 10 days at Apache Flats is not a problem. It is not on par with military campgrounds but for short stays okay.
