Beale AFB FamCamp

Wonderful FAMCAMP! The Manager (John) is very helpful and provides a wonderful camping experience. Management goes out of their way to help campers at the site. The FAMCAMP is well maintained, clean and is close to nature. Great place for bike riding, walking or just sitting and enjoying the peace and quiet. Gymnasium, BX and Commissary are close by along with civilian eating and shopping areas a short drive off base.

For rest and relaxation this is the place to be. Quiet campground, beautiful setting, need to be seen sunsets, all necesdsary amenities (Wi-Fi Internet, best in community room which also has voice and data outlets so bring oyur own phone). Camp hosts John & Don saw to all of needs and could not have been more pleasant and helpful including information about the area. Put this one on your itinerary and spend some restful time here.

Great place - John is very personably and full of information. Very clean rest rooms, community room and laundry. The Wagon Wheel arrangement takes away the feeling of someone being right next to you

The rules are a joke!!! There are people living there year-round. They enforce the rules only for the benefit. I was told I could stay for a month, but would have to move out during the air show week-end. Great!! Before the air show, I was told I had to move out because "The General's right hand man wanted my site" and I would not be welcome back after the air show because they would be full. Ruined a family reunion that had been planned for over a year. I will never go back.

Loved it...in only a one day stay. Spring with all the rolling green was idyllic. Planning on returning. Mgt and organization exceptional, friendly. This is one of those camps actually designed with the customer in mind. It is a long way from civilian shopping and activities, not all bad.

Sites form a wagon wheel, which allows a nice space between rigs. Park Manager very personable.

We stopped here for a four week stay. Both times in the "F" circle. They allow you to wash your rig at your spot or next to the FAMCAMP office. The office is a relatively new facility, very nice. BX, Commissary, etc are not far away, there are several places to fish (Bass) on base, one lake is right behind the office. The MWR office has fishing equipment as does the BX. Walkers will like the distances, clean level walkways and abandoned roads.
