At $60 per day or $1800 per month, this is the most expensive FamCamp I have ever stayed at. For the prices charged you would expect everything to work and sites to accommodate every RV made. First, they do not offer a weekly or monthly rate, its simply $60 x #of days you stay. The WiFi reception is terrible. It will show up as being available (gowifi) but will never connect. Sites are not set up for anything larger than 35' RV's. Anything bigger and your tail end will be into the street. Lots of spaces open, several leaking water, or have damaged solar lights on the utility post. Be aware that sites near the golf course on the high fence side are not level. RVs in that area have wheels off the ground to level. Rules say no large dogs or pens or more than 1 vehicle on the site other than the RV. At least a dozen have dog pens set up for Dobermans, Mastiff's, and various other sizes. When walking in the park be aware they will bark and charge at you. 2 large laundry rooms which are free but at least a half dozen machines are not working. Needless to say, get there early or late for access! No vending machines in the campground. Ice machines broken. 2 fenced dog walk areas that had grass knee high when I arrived. Park charges a fee if you change reservation with less than 24hr notice whether you're on site or not. Good news is the base has a huge exchange and well stocked commissary. Gas station is next to exchange, but they do not sell diesel. There are 3 gates for access weekdays but at night and weekends, it's just the main gate on Ventura Ave.
