I marked Amenities/Facilities and Value down for two reasons. The lack of any grass, particularly in the new area, and the 30% increase in cost (now $40) will give us pause before we stay here again. It is one of the highest we have experienced. Having said that, the staff and facilities are excellent and have always been very helpful and courteous.

No grass? Isn't that simply because it's California? I've been there a lot in the past few years (not at the RV park though) and a lot of people didn't even have lawns. California prefers for you to not use water and has all these laws and rules. A good example is this new straw law. Laws are completely out of hand over there. I know that the many year drought caused a lot of lawns to be ruined. It's just a thought. I can totally understand the giant increase. It's unfortunate that they're contracting independent companies to run facilities and it's no longer beneficial for the military.
