Click the ICE logo to submit your evaluation on this campground directly to the responsible department.
Eglin AFB covers 464,000 acres in Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, and Walton counties. An Eglin permit is required to access the 250,000 acres of the Eglin reservation conditionally open to public recreation. The Eglin AFB Natural Resources Branch office (commonly known as Jackson Guard) maintains this recreation area for numerous recreational opportunities.
In addition to the 2 establshed FamCamps on Eglin AFB,, the Jackson Guard maintains almost 30 remote camping locations. Many of these remote camping locations are accessable by small RV's and trailers, and all are perfect for tent camping.
