This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Pelican Roost, and this time in January. Crazy cold weather for our week stay but still the views are always nice. Nice spacing between sites, office staff very friendly and accommodating. We had to stay a couple of days longer on this trip due to a tow base plate issue on my Jeep and the office staff was able to let us stay the additional needed time. The campground hosts made several trips around the park, especially on the windy days picking up debris from the palm trees, very nice! The only issue we had was the laundry was secured from Friday afternoon and potentially through Monday or Tuesday due to some drain "issues". Can't really complain though the laundry is free when the machines work :) Will be back when the weather is a little warmer.
