Slow to Open

Is anyone else finding this site slow to open?

Using satellite Internet connection, it's taking me about 4 seconds per page to load. This is normal/quick for my satellite connection.

Running a website speed test provides acceptable results:

Thanks Larry, maybe it's something on my end. It seems it is mainly noticable loading your home page. It just took 10 seconds to load the home page but subsequent pages load in 4 seconds. I remember dial up speeds and even 10 seconds is fast to days gone bye.

I'm noticing when I try to log on to the web site, the first time I try I get a 505 error page. I click on the site again and it usually opens. Not sure what's going on with that...

Home page has always been slow to open for me and still is.

Rest of the pages open quicker, once the home page is open. Some are slower than others. Recently, the speed seems to be faster than in the past - like months ago.

But, we no longer get 'kicked off' when we post either, so that's a relief ... M44 was getting pretty sore from that activity --

Hope you'all are enjoying the summer - M44 getting ready to hit the road again - been here for several months but Florida's getting a little warm ... heading north.

The page is really slow for me also.
