If you get there between 7 am and 5 pm and 7 to 12 on Sat. Plan on going thru Tanker gate..You should have no problem getting at least a W/E hookup in Oct. most likely a full hookup..... Jan. You will probably have to start in dry to partial then full. In spite of some of the things you might read the girls in the office do there best to keep things rolling and good.. Have a great time..I had my first frost this morning..Its gonna be a long winter..Good facilities at MDAFB

Thanks for the info. Are there other good military bases in Florida that you enjoyed.
Another question, I have the proper ID Military card but my companion doesn't would that be a problem?
and if you have family come to visit with you while on a military base can they stay with you on base?
Thanks again

You can bring 'guests' and a guest can stay with you in your CG site ... if you need an additional site for guests, that's doable too, although guest rate is sometimes higher fee.
In general, you must accompany your guest at all times ...

I don't know that there is really a "bad" MCG in Fl. I've stayed at pretty much all of them (that's a lot)except Pensacola NAS and I hear its super nice.If you explore this web site Larry (the administrator and owner) has done a fantastic job of giving you (us) the low down and location of all the CG's. You won't need a vehicle sticker to get in to Macdill. You will need your Mil. ID and your guest should be fine with a govt ID..ie: drivers license, passport etc.

Howdy. Pls stop at King's Bay Nav Sub Base in Mayport, GA. on your way south. What a great intro to Mil Fampcamps. You may never leave. We try & hit it for at least a month each calendar yr.
