It's more than likely true, as what was declared ours, is slowly being nipped at and taken away. Socialist state, share the burden. Enough said,
"Who you gonna vote for"? Cannot afford to drive the RV anymore, just sits. Gasoline/Diesel over 4.00 a a gallon, hope you retired at a colonel or above. I didn't.
Once this is finished, the next step will be to privatize the commissary. Then we can pay as much (or more) as public markets ... instead of saving a little on groceries.
Remember when the BX was a 'good deal' and when we could buy base gas for less than commercial stations.
I've already been banging on my congressman and both of my senators with emails and a phone call. It's an election year. Turn up the heat. Might not help but it certainly can't hurt.
