This may not be a issue most of you care about. Only your wives or those of us men who do some cooking will emphasis with it.
In this 21st century of convenience, why are there still manufacturers of food products who don't package their products in a resealable zip lock bag??
I recently bought a frozen food product that we did not use all of, but didn't come in a zip lock bag. That meant I had to put it back in our freezer using some absurd method to wrap it. In this case it was duct tape. Now I am in love with duct tape as a remedy for most every fix, but I felt like a fool using it on a frozen food package.
Imagine if that bottle of Tequilla didn't come with a reuseable screw cap. Duct taping the bottle neck would look really silly, don't you think?
Maybe I can sue these uneducated companies. I'm thinking something associated with EPA regulations.
Anyone ever buy dog food without a zip lock on the bag? That stuff spills out everywhere and the rats love it!!!

I feel your pain, man.
I think ice should also come in zip lock bags, Once you cut one of those bags open, it's nearly impossible to not spill the cubes.
Imagine my G&T without clean, fresh ice cubes.
Oh, the humanity!

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

Even when food does come in a zip bag, many times the zip doesn't work properly.

Good old-fashioned clothes pins work fine, as no one hangs clothes anymore. One on a small bag, two on a large bag,
And a lot less $$ than 'packaging' the same thing and calling it a bag-clip.

I feel your pain as well, however, there are zip lock bags in varying sizes and are also freezer safe available in grocery stores.
These are not expensive and can be taken along on camping trips. Also, if zip lock bags were used as a part of product packaging, the cost of said product would reflect that.
We used zip lock bags to keep pre-cooked entrees and salads for easier use. We freeze in them and then thaw out when ready to use, and re-use for leftovers.
Just my humble opinion..

The only thing wrong with being retired is that you never get a day off!

I'm with you on this one Sky...I hate those bags you can't reseal.
I do the same thing that Monkey does...clothes pins. Or I take the whole bag and stick it in a gallon freezer zip bag. Get them at the Dollar Store, they're pretty cheap.
Oh, and a bottle of Tequila that you couldn't reseal sounds to me like a dandy excuse to keep drinking...waste not, want not! :woohoo:
