natchez trace parkway

Natchez ms to nashville tn 440 mi. No commercial vehicles, speed limit 50. Beautiful drive, camping area, no hookups about 100 mi from beginning. Absolutely beautiful, must do. Put on your bucket list.

davis lake usda park is where we stayed its about 10 miles off the trace.
then it was scarce

but we to had a great trip

Have very mixed feelings about this drive. If you are on your second honeymoon, or whatever this might be a great run. If you like trees, it also might be a great run. I don't recommend taking your sister along as co-pilot....LOL

The Trace is a beautiful drive especially in the spring. Watch the speed limit though. They mean what they say and they don't cut speeders any slack.

The DW and I completed this trip from Kentucky this past October on a motorcycle. Overall, about 1200 miles in a week or so...Outstanding weather and trip. Not something I would do on a regular basis, but a must do at least once, or twice. We had done it about 3 years ago in a camper. Enjoyed it both ways..

My home base is Bon Aqua which is near the parkway and we have only traveled about 30 miles of it from I40 to hwy55. Nice drive
