Spent the winter in the same site. Made an arrangement to stay past 30 days. Great location, close to Lake Park which has great shops and food. Drove to Moody AFB a few times but found it was just as economical to shop in Lake Park than it was the commissary. 1 1/2 hours to the Gulf, 2 hours to the ocean. Great location to miss all the storms. Grounds keeping at the campground is very poor. People came and raked leaves then left. Two weeks later people came and raked same leaves. 10 washers and dryers and only 4 worked. I spoke to the office about it and they said they were working on it. I asked if they would like me to contact the Command Chief at the base to see if he could do something. Nothing had changed when we left. A new manager arrived 2 weeks before we left, very nice guy. Campground host worked 3 other jobs so never saw him. Steady power and water, even during freeze up. Good internet. We will go back next year.
