Wow! One of the nicer military campgrounds we've stayed at so far. Pricier than I've become accustomed to for an Army campground, but for the price you certainly get more at Uchee than the typical "open field with concrete pads" I've found at most locations. Nice wooded sites, playgrounds, pool, and the grounds are big enough you can go for a proper walk without leaving the campground. Our visit was late December, so the campground was pretty vacant, and a lot of the summertime facilities (like pools) were closed, but I can definitely see that this would be a nice place to spend several days in the summer with a family.
