Since we're from Melbourne, this is a very convenient place for us. The great playground and beaches nearby are a big plus for the kids, and the commissary is great, as the BX is sufficient. With a theatre, library, and youth center on base, it's also great for long stays. The staff at the CG are SOOOO great; we had some issues with another camper and they looked out for the kids and I. However, I can see how many people who want internet/cable/activities would see this place as overpriced for not offering many amenities. We've stayed at more expensive places with less, and on the economy we wouldn't even have a spot for this price (in a secure location - where you can leave doors unlocked!). We also were kept informed of our number on the waiting lists when our 30 days came up, and even let us extend a day (b/c the snow bird influx had subsided) when we had RV trouble. We will definately stay here again. I feel they are as fair as can be with the 30-day stay policy, and work to get the right size rig into the spots available.
