Review Detail

This wasn't our final destination but a quick stop over on our trip. It's a beautiful location. We didn't make reservations and the entire campground including overflow was full. We were allowed to dry camp in the parking lot of Chevron Park ajacent to the campground for Free the first night only. The second night we stayed in overflow. You can't beat the value from the cost of the RV camping per night to the cost of laundry on any military installation. We went to the base library to get an internet connection. At the library they have a wireless connection. They do have a phone line in the laundry room, but that's not the service we use. We did call the base MPs for directions for a late arrival and it's a good thing we did. For any RV they make you go through one certain gate that doesn't have a blockade. We waited for about 10 minutes outside the gate. It was the weekend and the gate was locked and unmanned. Leaving we also called for them to open the gate (also during the weekend). If we have any reason to travel there again, we'd stay. Happy camping!
