Small park but right on Lake Michigan. Still electric only with potable water available down the road and the dump site past that. There is a NEX on base with gas pumps along with a McDonalds if you so desire. The MWR staff were great and even gave us a heads up about the main gate being closed upon our arrival. Still a great campground since our previous stay last summer. The utilities worked great and no issues with anything else in the park. Gate 12A is the best one to use for entry and it is no issue getting through the slalom course. Did not see diesel for sale at the gas station but that is fairly common. The Jarvis Gym was nicely outfitted and I was even able to swim some laps in the pool.

Large RV Park with huge concrete sites. All utilities worked but we did not try the CATV. The PX/Commissary, gas station, and gym are all within five minutes' drive. No diesel on post but I find it is usually cheaper to use our TSD Open Roads card off post plus most gas stations on post are not set up for a larger RV. Laundry room worked great and we did not use the bathrooms. Even the AAFES gas station pizza...

Nice RV Park that was easy to get to from the highway and even had diesel at the Shoppette. Check-in was smooth as can be and the camphost Marte was amazing in helping us park our flatbed trailer in the lot across the street and getting us to our site. Great RV park nestled right next to HolBrook Pond located outside any of the gates. Check-in was a breeze and the folks in the Outdoor Recreation Center were great. The newer sites are long and there is plenty of room between all sites. The laundry room worked great and was free. There is a shopette down the road but it looked like it had gasoline only. Peaceful place to stay!

Great RV park close to the metro Charleston area! Plenty of room between sites and all utilities worked with no issues. The BX and fuel point are right down the road but the fuel point has gasoline only. There is also a nice gym and pool nearby right near the BX. The park was peaceful and both the front office and camp host were great to deal with and we would stay again.

The check-in process was simple, and the staff were extremely helpful. They do not take reservations, but we were able to get a pull-thru site which was plenty big enough for our rig. We recommend using the Growden Commercial Gate both in and out especially if you have a larger RV. Everything worked as it should, and the usual on-post facilities were great. We only stayed for three nights but have no complaints. We had no problem making the reservation and the staff were polite when calling to collect the rest of our site fee. Great park nestled in the woods away from everything but close to everything at the same time. We had a pull-thru site which was plenty big for us. The staff and facilities were great as well. The utilities were good except the sewer connection could be better but luckily we had our rubber donut to keep everything flowing in the right direction. Everything you need is on Post and the Springfield/Franconia Metro station is not far away if you want to head into DC. We stayed from July 1-14, 2024 and we have no complaints. The campground is fairly spread out and you have plenty of room at your site and you cannot really see anyone next to you. The only tough part is the access roads are narrow for a 38' DP towing a trailer but we managed and we even had plenty of room next to us to store our trailer. We stayed on Ellsworth AFB and their FamCamp is great! They have both back-ins and pull-thrus which are all paved with water/sewer/electric. The camp staff were amazing and very helpful with their knowledge of the local area. The installation has the usual amenities, commissary, PX, barber shop, shopette with liquor, gasoline, large gym, auto craft shop, etc. You cannot beat the location of this FamCamp with its easy access to Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Deadwood, the Badlands, Minuteman Missle Site,...
