First impression, a neglected campground. Adequate for an overnight stop. We entered and exited through main gate.
Sunday check-in, camp host (Fred) escorted us to our site. Clean campground with a few exceptions, some long-term campers need to clean up their site. Planes, trains and automobiles, it tends to be noisy, Interstate 5 is close as well as train tracks. Starlink bandwidth is saturated during prime-time hours, single digit download speeds. (No fault of campground).
Arrived at 1430 on Friday, office was already closed. We had reserved site 37 and packet was ready for pickup at office foyer. Another RV was in our assigned site so we had to call the "emergency" number provided in the check-in packet. *This campground does not have a Camp Host* Person who answered worked a solution and assigned us another site. Grass needed mowing. Despite its shortcomings we would return.
Easy access, clean and well-maintained campground thanks to the efforts of the Camp Host. Will definitely return.
New campground with all new facilities, $45 a night. Three areas of concern to be aware of: 50 amp service is not to industry standard. The pedestal has only one 50 amp breaker feeding both legs to your RV versus the standard two 50 amp breakers ganged together. This could become an issue when running two A/C units and other high current draw appliances. 2. Several of the larger sites are not level front to...
If camping in a parking lot a few hundred yards from the beach is worth $63 a night then this is your place. FHU is 30 amp service, no Wi-Fi, doesn't appear any money is being put back into this campground.
