We stayed in a cabin w/ 2 bedrooms, kitchen (frig, stove, dishwasher, microwave, full bath, washer & dryer, the amenities were outstanding. The staff was great & treated everyone of their guests with respect & thoughtfulness. They helped in anyway possible. For boaters, with fishing in mind, the ramp, fuel service at the dock, & fishing cleaning station were great & clean. The boat house is full of fishing boats & pontoon boats to rent at a reasonable price. ...
We enjoyed our stay at Round Pond a great deal. The staff were wonderful, the facilities were first rate. If you are looking for a get a way, & a commune with nature this is the place. RVs must use I-87 to get to this MWR, all other routes are cars only & you may encounter low clearances on others. The direction given on this site are spot on.
We enjoyed our stay at Andrews AFB. The staff was very helpful and really nice to our party. The Metro System is just about down the street and the people we met on the metro were helpful to "Country Come to Town". The BX & Commissary were fabulous, the commissary we ever seen. There isn't any diesel on post but out the Virginia Gate & turn right there is diesel there for a good price. ...
The MWR here at Annapolis is a great place to stay! We loved the atmosphere here and the outdoors in the middle of metropolis. We used it to stage jaunts to DC & other attractions around the area. The NEX & Commissary were close by & they were stocked really good with the things we needed. The post gas station was also close by and it said that it had bio-deisel and flex-fuel. We could...
Beautiful area & sites 1a-9a have the hookups on drivers side while sites 1-9 have the hookups on passenger side. You'll need extra sewer, water, & electric for the hook ups. Follow the directions given by the write- up from Oct bellow. We have enjoyed our stay & recommend this location to all.
Staff was very courteous and helpful. A new boat house was just constructed and it housed the bass boats and pontoon boats. All equipment there at the recreations facility is first rate. Not only are the bass boats quality rides but equipped to the nines with tools to help the anglers who rent them to catch fish. There are RV sites, trailers, cabins, & yurts to rent to fit the needs of every visitor to this facility....
