Have stayed here many times over the years. Has been much busier lately. I guess that's why they have figured an almost 300% raise in prices was due. As of January 1st, they are raising there rates from $15/night to $42/night. Outrageous and not at all in keeping with other military campgrounds. Won't be staying here in the future. I can stay at much nicer places for less money.

I'll start out by saying I think Davis-Monthan FamCamp is one of the best military campgrounds. It was under the old management and it still is under the new management. Most of what makes it great is the location, the weather, the overall upkeep, and particularly under the OLD management, the fairness of it. Won't stay here again. Tired of having to pick up dog poop from owners who think they can get away with not picking up after their pets.

First off the two people at the front desk were super friendly and helpful and the park was reasonably clean and well kept. Unfortunately, that is the only plus for the price of this park. It's location is approximately 2 hours from the national parks or the coastline. You can stay closer to either area for the same price or cheaper even "on the economy".
