This Army resort is an outstanding facility. Although the pads are gravel, and only water/electric are available, it is still worth the visit. An amazing fish house for full processing of your fish, including vacuum bagging and freezing! Beautiful bathrooms, although in a "gym" type layout (sorry ladies). On August 3 we began a week-long stay at Bear Lake FAMCAMP. Again the camp is in a beautiful location and has lovely facilities. Daily management in this camp is improved but still is not up to FAMCAMP standards. The staff is MUCH more helpful and interested in customers, but their camp walk-arounds consist of simply driving around in a smoking ATV. Here are the defects: 1. Baths are not swept out. 2. On July 30 and August 1 we stayed at Birch Lake FAMCAMP. The camp is in a beautiful location and has lovely facilities. However daily management of this camp is lacking and not up to FAMCAMP standards we have encountered throughout the US. The staff and camp management seemed uninterested in serving customers.
