We've been here twice. The first time 3-1-2013 to 3-11-2013, we were in the overflow, no hook-ups the 1st night, moved to partial hook-ups,water & sewer the 2nd night and moved to full hook-ups for the remainder,8 days on the 3rd day. When we arrived, the first time, we found that there is no designated area to park. We were told we could stay in the overflow area, wait until someone to leave in the partial hook-ups, then move to...
We had a good time. Have no pictures to share of our time here as they do not allow ANY pictures to be taken on base. Only down side was the mowing every day somewhere in the park while we were here. The mower is VERY loud.
The women’s restroom is finished; the men’s should be finished soon, probably by the end of February. Laundry facilities are across from the exchange, $1.75 to wash and $.50 to dry. The exchange is small and only open 3 days a week. Our Verizon worked well as did our Dish TV. We heard that gravel is on the agenda, but don’t know when. If you have a large vehicle and want to visit the downtown area you...
We drove through to check it out and are glad we had reservations for a private rv park. Since our granddaughter lives with us our need for family type parks is essential. This park has absolutely nothing for families with young children. The grass appeared to need water. They have a temporary fence around the new area, which appeared to be finished. We did not get out to check the facilities. If you're need is...
This was our second stop with our new trailer and our second time here. The woman who checked us in this time was a bit rude at first. But after a bit of joking with her she opened up. I still prefer this family camp to the others we have been at. This is a RURAL base set amongst many dairies. If you can’t handle the “smell” of live stock in the area then go...
We only stayed here overnight so we could visit a relative. It was raining so there was lots of mud. They definitely need to bring in more road base for the drive lanes. The woman in Billeting was extremely nice and helpful. We needed to purchase two batteries for our truck, she helped find a store and give us directions. We will return, just not if rain is expected in the area until they put more road base...
Read all the other posts also. Our complaint and why we will not return here are the following: The park is at the end of a runway. Right next door is a jet propulsion testing building. There is no area for children to play. We were even warned against walking on the road next to the golf course and venturing off into the trees next to the rv area. There was a constant incoming and outgoing of jets at...
We borrowed a friends’ trailer (1984 - 24’) to find out if we like trailering. Was our first time to try a trailer & 1st time to stay at a FamCamp. We stayed here for 3 days with our 19 mo old granddaughter and had a great time. We arrived on Sunday, they had only 1 spot left. Monday 3 left, Tuesday 2 left with no new arrivals. We left on Wednesday for the Monterey FamCamp. The...
