We had made reservations and given a space # and upon our arrival, it was taken, but there were plenty of vacancies, so no problem. The laundry facilities were at no cost, which was nice. This is our fourth visit to this Famcamp. This time the weather was exceptional which made for an enjoyable stay. We had made reservations and Bonnie had our space blocked out when we arrived. Bonnie does a good job as always. I would recommend that you use the Wheatland gate as it is also the truck entrance and has the easiest access. Our site was relatively level so we had no problems. We were fortunate to have one of the three sites that had trees and a lot of room from your neighbors. The host was very informative and friendly. The amenities were fine and in my opinion a very good value for $15. The location is remote however the Boron facility and the Air and Space museum were nice.
Campground host Bonnie does a great job. The place is very clean and the area is beautiful. We are relatively new to the military camping experience but if this is the gold standard there won't be many better.
