This in not the first time we have stayed here so we kinda knew what to expect and we were wrong. The campground has changed slightly, full hookups at all sites. The MWR staff continues to present a friendly and professional manner and that, to me, sets the mood for your stay. I spoke to both Hosts and they were helpful and friendly. We are currently at Gowen Field and after reading the reviews I think that for $10 the air traffic at Laughlin AFB Tx was much worse touch and goes from early to dark. We also had no trouble getting thru the from gate (34' Fifth wheel with a long bed Dodge pulling it, plenty of room. The SPs at the gate were more the helpful. I thanked one of them for the fine job they were doing...

We drove up without reservations and got one of the last campsites available. The Campground is quite nice, new with covered patio, cement level pads and full hookups. One of the things I thought made it even better was the hosts and people who worked there. Beautiful scenery, if you like the desert and mountains, we do, warm days and cool nights. Close to the highway but not as bad as I thought it would be....

We just began Fulltimming and this was our first stop. Very nice campground, quiet, refreshing, located among trees. Grassy sites with full hookups. Great people at MWR friendly, helpful and seem to enjoy helping others.
