Stopped here for 2 nights. Personnel in MWR office inside BX mall for check-in. This is a very small base but has a nice commissary/BX. The camp is well located. Yes, there will be jet noise, it's a training base! But AF people love hearing them right? Right! We stayed here two weeks in our class C early December 2014. It is a very nice park, has very nice laundry, shower and day room facilities. The sites are nice and level even though the whole park slopes. We were on an east site on the east side and while we could clearly see the interstate the noise was not bad at all. This is a very nice camp. We stayed one month and enjoyed it the whole time. The Commissary / BX complex is right across the street with post office, Starbucks and the usual vendors, shoppette and library a couple blocks down. There is a nice free museum on base. We stayed here one night enroute from Travis to Nellis. The location is perfect right off Hwy 58. Access onto base was easy, just showed ID's and the airman told us how to find the camp. It is a spartan little camp on a spartan little base, as she said as we left "Just be glad you don't have orders to stay here the next 4 years!"
