This is a little late and I am not sure of the exact dates. This is a very nice campground with new updates. We were there for a couple of nites. The camp host was great and helped us and provided great information and a map of the base. I would recommend staying here anytime.
This is a great location for everything from the beach to the shopping on and off base. There's a great golf course and beach on base. I have stayed here several times and really like this location. The campground is a little old and could use some upgrades. You have to pay for internet unlike at most facilities where's it's free. It does work well though. The cable TV has never worked. It is all one way roads and for...
Great little campground. It's clean and quiet. Talked with the people over the phone they set me up for an over-nite stay. There's no extras. Just plain pull-in full hook-up and stay. It was close to town so I could pick up items I needed. I was in site 7 and it did have a great view. It's a little off the beaten track but as has been said before for $8.50 a night you can't go wrong.
I am currently at the Fairways RV Resort. It is a very nice and well maintained campground. The staff are very accomodating and helpful. $30 a night is getting expensive for MWR facilities. I just traveled cross country from Maine and I stayed in some civilian campgrounds that cost less than this one and I don't belong to any camper clubs. The internet is iffy at best the cable TV is fuzzy as it is in most MWR campgrounds. Most...
Let me state that everyone staying here at the campground are friendly and very helpful. Be warned if the Lompoc gate is open you will be turned away at all other gates. There are pull thru sites but we have been told there is a waiting list for those sites. It is most likely because there are a lot of homesteaders in the campground. People have lawn sprinklers set out as if they are watering their own lawn. Most of...
I am currently in route to California and decided to go off the beaten track to stay here hoping they had an auto repair place on base. Unfortunately they do not. I called at least a dozen times today and got the answering machine. Left my number the first time and they did not call me back. Finally about an hour out I got a real person. The campground is very clean and nice wide spots for big rigs. It's...
The park is beautiful after $1.4 million upgrade. Pull thru and and back in sites. Big rig friendly. No cable but plenty of local HD channels. Wifi is great.
We have stayed here before. It's in a great location and the host and staff are helpful and friendly. Free laundry, free wifi, catv, big rig friendly, and right down the street from a great beach to walk. The only negative is the base sewer plant is close by and if you get a day of the breeze blowing in the wrong direction it's pretty bad.
Just did an overnight here on my way to Florida. This is a beautiful campground. I asked for a pull thru site and they assigned me one that was back in. After maneuvering around the trees into the site I find out that the electric, water and sewer connections had been installed on the wrong side of the campsite as if it were a pull thru. However, they told me I could pick any site if that one did not...
