Calm quiet stay. Large sites, concrete pads, picnic table and grill at each site. Trash can at each site. Small dog park with bench and poop bags. Lots of sand spurs, check paws frequently. Camp host very helpful and kind. We would return!

Lovely FamCamp at Joint Base Charleston, Foster Creek SC..... easy to follow driving directions following militarycampgrounds.us Sites were fairly level and unshaded, leaving good satellite reception. This is a very small, very tight older campground. We were in a 40' coach and had a tough time negotiating the RVs and their associated vehicles. Nice area to relax in the laundry building, along with free washers and dryers. Wifi was available, though slow and spotty in coverage. One of the nicest FamCamps we've stayed in. Quiet, clean, walking distance to shoppette, and there's a thrift shop on base with all sorts of treasures. Concrete pads, easy hookups, and nothing beats hearing reville in the morning! There is overflow area, or park in front of Dakota Club. Not far from Rapid City, and all the Black Hills attractions. Truly surprised that there were MANY MANY long-term campers there.... decks and fences built even! We found a place where our coach could level after trying three. Not well-maintained, loose connections, rickety picnic tables, tons of boats parked all over, and folks in and out at the boat ramp. Power seemed stable to us, but park was just a bit over 2/3 full. Paid $20 a night, 50-amp service. Dirt/gravel surfaces, dusty and trees contribute pollen. Very shady! ...

Lovely location, some lots are shaded, some are fairly open. Tents are separated from RVs. Some sites have fire rings close by, though with the current drought, they weren't used. Small screened clubhouse in the middle of the campground is used in the evenings by long-termers for karaoke singing - fun! Very short, pleasant walk to beaches.
