Spent one night here. Came in late, but found the gate guards to be very helpful showing me the site and making sure I was set up. The sites are very tight, but paved, level, and had full hook ups. Spend a week there is last July. The sites are well spaced out, paved, level, with a picnic table at each site. There is no sewer hook ups at any site. The restrooms/showers with the campgrounds were very old and could really use a new coat of paint, but were clean. Stayed there for only one night. Found the camp sites to be level, paved, and each had a grill and table. There were 3 different restrooms/showers available. One old and in need of repair, while the other two were very modern with laundry and break rooms within the same buildings. The only problems with the 2 modern restrooms is that they close/lock them for the night. Right at the campgrounds they also have a very nice outdoor rec store. ...
Was only there for one night but found the camp hosts to be very friendly and helpful. The sites while a little close together were level and well maintained. The restrooms and showers were old but clean. Over all I had an enjoyable stay.
If you like getting away and roughing it, this may be the spot for you. You have to register at the base about 7 miles from the campgrounds, to include picking up a key as the camp is gated with no on site staff. The base personnel were friendly and helpful giving good directions to the camp. The road to the camp is for the last couple of miles dirt. The sites are dirt/gravel with full hookups.
