A decent site to visit USNA and Annapolis, just don't expect much from the campground. It is a good launching point to visit the area, but nothing for the kids or family to do in the campground. The check-in staff was less than helpful and did not offer to reserve us a site, unlike other reviewers, even when calling to confirm our reservation the morning of our arrival. There is a traffic loop to turn-around near the MWR check-in, but...

A great place to take the family to the beach. We stayed for a week. Great full hook up sites that are level and clean. The old section has more shade, the new section is in the open. If you call ahead to the NAS Oceana security office, they can have the barricades moved for you. We would...

Great location for DC and/or Baltimore. No WiFi or cable, but the security, paved sites, and proximity to facilities on base (PX, commissary, lake park, etc.) makes it a good week or weekend visit. I would camp here again for a PCS transition or a visit to the region.
