Stayed one night, beautiful setting (the view of the mountains were unbeatable). Full hookups were available and easy to use. Each site had a covered picnic table and outstanding feature in a hot climate. The check-in location is a good walk from the rv sites only drawback.The directions are a little off, the is no sign on 70 indicating SR213.

We attempted to stay in May 2018. We called numerous times prior to our arrival no one ever answered we left messages no one ever returned a call. But we kept going. On arrival there was no one around, called again finally someone answered. We were told they don't open until May 22. When asked if we could dry camp again told they were not open. Great experience. We were fortunate when we arrived at checkout another camper had just vacated a front row site (Battleship side), it was great. It would be nice if reservations were allowed. We had stayed there a number of years ago, very little has changed, only exception is the additional sites which will be nice when they get the all open (electric problem-unresolved).

Wonderful campground, we stayed in the grass area. A lot of space between sites. Only fault was the showers, no facilities in this area and showers were located in the other area (a car ride away) and in need of upgrading. The base is located close enough to Padra Island which was wonderful. We even spent a few nights camping on the beach (great fun). Will visit again.

Great campground. Will stay again. Only fault was it was very difficult to find. The construction in the area was terrible. When visiting this area there is a lot of history and good restaurants.

Wonderful experience. We were just traveling thru and spent just 1 night. I have travel thru El Paso many times, first time to spend the night, it was nice to get settle and restart before the bad rush hour. The amenities seemed to be top notch, staff were very helpful. Convient to gas and supplies. Only fault was it is locate in the city and very close sites.
