This park is down on people staying do to COVID. Park still has a few vacancies which is unusual. In my opinion this park is still one of if the best parks in system. 395 per month and that includes electric. They can not seem to get cable up and going: something about needing a box at site and they don,t have them. COVID is none exist on post. The staff is very good about face mask and sanitation. The...
The RV Park was easy to fine and easy to get into. We could stay only 5 days because they were full over the weekend, so if you plan on a stop on a weekend in the summer I would advise reservations. Nice will kept park but the bathhouse and laundry needed some TLC. The restaurant was good and the WiFi in the lobby was good. It is 8 tenths of a mile walk down to...
Very easy to get to and one of best designed I have used. No showers at the camp but there are toilets near by. Everything on base is close to the camp and within walking distance so you could get by without a car or truck to get around. Host is excellent. This is a very good value but not a lot to do in the immediate area but some nice things at a distance say a...
Great RV park probably one of best values in the whole system. Sites are well laid out and the post is easy to get into and signs to the Park lead you right to it. Since the addition of six new site those who want to spend a night or two have a lot better chance. There have been from 5 to 9 sites open each day we have been here. Everything you need is close by...
As usual the personnel running this campground are very friendly and helpful. We stayed 3 nights with no reservation and were taken care of very well. They keep on adding new amenities such as wifi and cook out area for group events. The appearance of this campground is great. They could upgrade the old area and keep it full. The bath and laundry are not the best I have seen but they are kept clean....
This is our 3rd visit to this park over last 7 years and nothing has changed except the newer bathhouse/laundry which are very nice and quite clean. It still has the same parking lot feel but everything seems to work. Very good place to stop for short time and do BX/Commissary stuff. They have diesel fuel. This is a place that is easy to get in and out of. Have never seen a host any time we...
This is our favorite camp in the system. Diana has a lot to do with my opinion, she is the manage and one of the best in the business. They will have 20 new space open around the 1st of Jan 09 weather permitting. There is only one campground on this base, I read somewhere that there might be two. Yes doing the winter most of the people here are staying a month or more and...
We stayed here 3 nights and enjoyed our stay very much. This is one of the top campgrounds in the system. They need to consider building a place to watch TV read and the like. The office is all that's available now. There is no cable available and that doesn't seem right for a campground this nice. You need to know the route into camp from highway because the traffic is always bad. Great...
We arrived early in afternoon and there were no signs to tell you were to check in. Had to find another camper and ask. Turns out it is about 300 yards from the campground to the east in a building across the road from the lodge. The gentleman who checked me in was not very friendly but he got it done. It is 10 miles from the campground to the PX and commissary but they...
We arrived here and plan to stay 4 months. If you plan to stay here doing the winter you need to arrive by the 1st of Oct our prepay for you spot which is something new this year. We got one of the last two site. They plan to add more site next year which will put the camp ground over 100 sites. There are a few drawbacks to this campground. One is the air quality is getting real poor...
This is very nice campground. We are staying for one month and the monthly rate is now 300. The daily rate is $14. Coming in the main gate the directions to the camp are very well marked and it is a good thing since you drive all the way through post to get there. The base has a good PX /Commisary. If you like to walk as we do there are plenty of places to do that. WIFI...
We arrived around noon and were met and greeted very promptly. The camp host checks you in. One thing the park needs is a way to use the internet on location. I found the park to very nice in appearance and well designed. I would rate this park in the top 25% of the parks I have stayed at which includes about 7-8 parks per year.
