Only stayed here one night just passing through, but it was nice. Nothing special but clean and well maintained and seems to be taken care of with pride. Some of the roads within the campgrounds are a little interesting, especially with a big rig but should not pose any problems(they are steep in some spots). The people are all real friendly and helpful.
I'm not sure what I can add that hasn't already been said about this campground, it is really one of the best maintained parks I have ever stayed at. We only stayed overnight as we were just passing through, but will be back to stay for a while and take advantage of the facilities. i also want to mention the folks that checked us in were very friendly and helpful.
First let me say that it rained both days we were there, we were on our way home, and we had been down in the keys so it really wasn't fair. It didn't bother us and didn't inconvenience us, but I really couldn't give it a 5 either. Well I can only guess that since the 2 or 3 reviews right before me were posted that all hell broke loose because when we got here there were no chickens, there was no issues with parking, there was no issue with trimming grass, no issue with management, no issues with anything they were complaining about. Granted we only stayed 4 days, but we had a great time, everyone in the office was really nice and helpful and accommodating....
We just stayed a couple nights here on our way south. I think the campground is really nice and looks like they are really trying to do a good job of taking care of it.
