This is the most poorly kept military campground that we have stayed in. The sites are very close together and are a sandy dirt unlevel surface. Some of the campers look like they haven't been moved or washed in years. The laundromat had a sign on it that states it is for active duty military only. We found that the office staff were very friendly and helpful. The FHU sites were full but they put us in a nice dry campsite. We were able to get a FHU site the next day. The FHU sites have increased in price...now $24 daily rate. We have stayed here a few times and will definitely stay here again if passing thru the area.

DO NOT use GPS cords to the RV gate it is no longer open. You must enter from the main gate. It is a very old base and it shows. But with that being said, the campground is nice and quite. The host came out to meet us when we arrived and was very helpful. There is a nice COE park/campground just a few miles from here if you find this one full. We would definitely stay here again....

We so enjoyed our stay at YPG. This was our first winter there and found everyone friendly and full of information of things to do and see. The staff was great, very friendly and helpful also. There is a very nice community room with a couple of pool tables, game tables (which a few of us used most every night) plus a TV room.
