The spaces were very tight and the road was narrow because of the vehicles park on sites. The rules stating 1 vehicle per site was mostly ignored. The posted speed limit of 5 mph was also mostly ignored. The cable and WiFi was excellent. I was never kicked off the internet for the duration of our stay. October 2018 - February 2019 Our stay here was great. The sites were level with full hookups. They have overflow parking with water and electric and dry camping. The office works tirelessly to move them to a full hookup site. They have a community center with a new stove for general use. There is generally cards (hand & foot) every day at 1300. We were met by Rex the camp host and he assisted in getting me backed in. We used the free laundry and the area was very clean. This is a good place to stay while in Jacksonville.

What a great park. We only stayed one night and did not use the laundry. The bath house was exceptionally clean. The base is off the beaten path and our gps didn’t help much. I called outdoor rec/lodging and Melissa was most helpful. She emailed directions to us on the road and we found it without any problems. The base has a new commissary that was well stocked. We would definitely stay again,
