This is an update to the directions. We are a 45' motorhome towing a pickup. The sign regarding 29' RVs using the commercial gate is gone. The main gate (Liberty) has 2 swing gate type barriers. The barriers can be opened if necessary. We had no problem going around the barriers and through the gate. A 45' motorhome towing a long trailer might have a problem. Good for short term stay. Being a training base there is no traffic. Nice pool across the street. No commissary and a very small shoppette type PX. Grocery store a few miles away. The good: One of the best entrance gates to accommodate big rigs we have seen. No concrete barriers, just a straight thru entrance. Good but small campground with concrete pads and car parking spots at each site. The sites look short but a 45' coach will fit in the pull thru spots. Our biggest complaint is the lack of any base signage to the FamCamp. Once thru the Tye Gate go to Avenue A and turn left. Proceed to the traffic circle and take the 3rd exit onto Arnold Blvd. Drive past the aircraft display on the left toward the main gate....
