I rate Quantico the worst and Twilight Dunes in Twentynine Palms, CA second worst of all I have stayed at. Located in a beautiful setting just north of downtown Seward; however, with no sewer hookups I rated Amenities/Facilities a 3. As stated, hookups are together so every other site is pull-in/back-in so your hookups are on the correct side. I was in the far line of sites from the office and Wi-Fi worked great in my RV. The FamCamp is in the trees with no Wi-Fi or CATV. There are no full hookup sites although there is a dump station. Charley, the Assistant Camp Host was most courteous and helpful. Have stayed in approximately 40 military FamCamps from Hanscom AFB to Ft. Lewis to MacDill AFB to San Onofre at Camp Pendelton and this has to be the worst FamCamp I ever visited. Sites are not level and hookups are all over the place but where they should be. I was promised an open site when I made reservations the middle of March but was put in Ceder new with no explanation why I was under the umbrella of trees....
A very nice campground located near Scott Lake. All sites are back-in. Sites 1 through 9 and 12 are dirt sites while sites 13 through 24 are paved. There are no sites numbered 10 and 11.
